The PIWD was established by Charter for the purpose of providing adequate water supply to the residents of the Prudence Island Water District.  As a public body overseen by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, we are here to serve you.  Please consider attending one or more of our regularly scheduled Board meetings to learn more about the PIWD or visit the Secretary of State website to review past meeting agendas and minutes.

2019 is a PIWD Election year!


As the result of the repeated presence of coliform in the distribution system, the PIWD is required to fully implement its CCCP by August 1st, 2020.
